I will start. I like using Sony Vaio for watch DVD and doing banking and for other thing ending with anking. What do u use ur Sony Vaio for?

I would like to buy a new Mobile. I m in Chennai. My Budget is aroung 10 to 13(at max), not more than rupee. My problem is each time i m lookin for model relate to my budget,
i get little confusion. Each model looks good in each way. So U all help me to buy a gud Model.
1) I have downloaded many Applications like Call Cheater, Answering Machine, IR remote,...........So i Want SYMBIAN Model, coz SYMBIAN only accepts the Application.
2) But SONY ERICSSON is good in Sounds, Stereo Sounds - MP3, Wav...I donno much about
Sony's CAM. Walkman Model is nice, maybe in or not in my Budget...I want Sounds to be
Good, as Ringtones(with Stereo effects). Thinking of Ringtone, Sony Satisfy me. Finally Sony
is good
3) I saw Nokia 6630, it has great features, And compressed in my Budget. The Main Problem
(for me) is the Keypad, Its difficult for me to Operate the middle button - (dot) Key, in the
5-Way Joystick. I also Saw Nokia N70, but it costs around 24. I heard tat within 4 months it ll
less, But 4 months i cant wait.....Nokia Satisfies me bcoz, 1.3 MP CAM, 1-Hour Video
Recording, True Tones, MP3/MPEG-4 Player, Bluetooth........
Now I want to know Which Phone can i go? My Requirements are the above in Nokia and
First Option - Symbian Apps.
Is that True Tones will Sounds good, like Stereo Speakers? Can the song be played as
Ringtone(Truetones)..?
Pls Guys Help Me out, Whether Sony or Nokia or Samsung or Moto, And i Cant wait....I can if any new model comes with all the
requirements i asked and the in my budget...Then i ll wait...?

Well sairamchunder, of course you should get the Sony. Shamefully, Sony have impurified their electro-blood with the line of Ericsson, but it is still a Sony at heart. It will serve you well.

Apple recruiting Sony VAIO engineers to build the first Intel PowerBook?
Will the first Intel PowerBooks be designed by a team of ex-Sony engineers? Could be. A reliable source tells us that Apple has been "having trouble playing catch up with the learning curve for designing using the Intel platform" and that in order to have an Intel-based PowerBook out by next year they've been scrambling to recruit an engineering team with some experience building light and thin Intel-based laptops. And how are they going to do that? By poaching from Sony apparently, by hiring a headhunting firm in Japan which has been trying to recruit as many current Sony VAIO and ex-Sony VAIO engineers as they can in order to have a team in place as soon as possible. Sounds a little crazy, but it wouldn't be the first time that Apple's turned to Sony for assistance — you might recall that they had Sony help them design the very first PowerBook way back in 1991.
This is not really a use for Sony products, more Sony engineers. But i like it anyway
